Junior All-City

The Seattle All-City Band is proud to present a summer marching band program for 5th through 7th grade students in the Seattle area. The program features two weeks of instruction on musicianship, marching, and choreography and provides students with the opportunity to demonstrate their learning in local parades and community events.

Participating students will receive group instruction from certificated music teachers and participate in sectionals led by exceptional high school and college musicians. This will be an opportunity for students to develop friendships with students from different schools and an excellent way to have fun while playing music during the summer break.

In order to support the participation of students from all over the Greater Seattle area, we are hoping to provide  transportation from three middle school sites where  parents would be able to  drop off students to take a school bus to the camp. Availability of rehearsal transportation is dependent on sufficient enrollment of students from the regions.

  • North Seattle: Eckstein  (3003 NE 75th St)
  • Central District: Washington M.S. (2101 S. Jackson St.)
  • South Seattle: Aki Kurose M.S. (3928 S. Graham St.

Please indicate on the registration form if you are interested in riding a school bus from any of these three locations.  We will contact families with the final transportation plan 1-2 weeks prior to the first rehearsal.

Availability of rehearsal transportation is pending sufficient enrollment of students from the targeted regions. Assuming sufficient enrollment, approximate bus pick up times will be 7:30am at Eckstein, 8:00am at Washington and 8:20am at Aki Kurose.
