Ben Orlin

Music Composer

 

Ben is entering his 11th year with the All-City program, and his 6th year on staff. Entering a new role this year as Staff Arranger, Ben is ecstatic to be writing music for the program that first gave him an arranging opportunity for marching band back in 2019. Ben emphasizes the importance of having dialogue with ACB members about writing and arranging music who wouldn’t otherwise be introduced to those concepts. After graduating with a BM from Berklee College of Music in Spring of 2021, Ben continued to pursue his personal music career while also teaching the band program part-time at Robert Eagle Staff Middle School. With taking the prior school year off from education, he’s excited to get back to it this summer and can’t wait for another memorable summer with ACB!
